Our Family Mortgage is available at up to 100% LTV, designed to support first time buyers and home movers with little or no deposit and with the assistance of their family.

FEATURES OF OUR FAMILY MORTGAGE

Family members have the flexibility to provide security for a family member's mortgage in one of two ways (or a combination of both) provided the total security, plus any initial deposit, adds up to 20% of the value of the property the borrower is buying.

Family members can:

The security supports the mortgage until the end of its fixed rate and is then released (subject to conditions).

Support can come from parents, grandparents or other family members without the need to provide a gifted deposit.

  • Security options available - Security through savings (in our Family Security Account), or security through property. The total of all security provided, plus any deposit, must be equal to 20% of the value of the property being purchased

  • Valuation Fees - Free for properties up to £500,000. For properties above £500,000 the standard valuation fee scale applies, less £330 discount

  • Early Repayment Charges - 5% until 30/06/2027, 4% until 30/06/2028, 3% until 30/06/2029, 2% until 30/06/2030, 1% until 30/06/2031

All of these mortgage products have limited funds available and may be withdrawn at any time. Our mortgages are available to applicants aged 18 and over for properties in England or Wales.
