How we fund our mortgage lending
We currently fund our lending activities from raising retail savings. We also use some wholesale funding and participate in the Bank of England Term Funding Scheme. Please note these are for our liquidity purposes rather than to fund our mortgages. We do not currently securitise our mortgages to fund new lending.
Key information about who we are
Family Building Society is a trading name of National Counties Building Society and was established in July 2014 to bring a new focus to helping multi-generation families use their resources to help each other.
We produce innovative products not always available from other firms, bringing a no nonsense, common sense approach to underwriting. As we manually underwrite each case individually, this approach can take longer for us to process a mortgage application. For more information, please visit our about us page.
