We offer mortgages for expats with non sterling earnings
At the Family Building Society we treat your clients as individuals. We can offer those who live in the UK, but are paid in a foreign currency, an Owner Occupier mortgage on an Interest-Only basis. This is subject to the repayment vehicle being from a Sterling denominated UK asset and foreign nationals must have a permanent / indefinite right to reside in the UK.
About our expat products
- We accept applications from expats in over 40 countries, including United States, New Zealand and Hong Kong.
- We offer expat mortgages on an Interest-Only basis for both Owner Occupier and Buy to Let, subject to certain conditions.
- We can also lend to UK nationals working abroad with families remaining in the UK.
- The minimum loan amount is £100,000.
