How will this work?
A desktop report can be carried out for houses of standard construction and type, which are wholly for residential/BTL purposes and where standard insurance conditions apply.
Desktop valuations may not be possible in all instances, however, we'll continue to underwrite every case as far as we can (effectively up to offer) until we're in a position to recommence the physical valuation.
In order for us to carry out a desktop valuation please bear in mind the following:
• The loan should not exceed 60% of property valued at a maximum of £500,000
Or
• The loan should not exceed 50% of property valued at a maximum of £750,000 or £1,000,000 in Greater London
