Existing Family Building Society borrowers coming to the end their product term?

9 Apr 2020

We make it a quick and easy process for existing Family Building Society borrowers to switch to a new product at the end of their term, plus there is no additional cost for doing so.

And being an existing Family Building Society borrower, they can choose from a number of products above 60% LTV.

You can view a summary of the mortgage products available for existing borrowers here.

You can apply for a product switch up to three months in advance of the current product end date.

SIX SIMPLE STEPS FOR PRODUCT SWITCH

  1. We will let borrowers know about their new mortgage options around three months before the end of term.
  2. When you have discussed these options, ask your client to complete our Consent to Release Information Form which is available to download here. Once completed return it back to our Mortgage Service Team via our Secure Document Upload facility.
  3. You'll receive an email confirmation from us and we’ll aim to process your request within three days.
  4. We’ll send you a product switch pack containing the Acceptance Form and a Mortgage Variation Offer.
  5. Ensure the acceptance form is signed by your client and returned to our Mortgage Service Team using the Secure Document Upload facility. Without this form, we won’t be able to progress their switch further.
  6. We’ll then confirm the product switch to your client and pay you your proc fee seven to ten working days after the date of the product switch.
Procuration fees

Payments of procuration fees will be paid 7-10 working days following completion.
