At Family Building Society we offer a range of mortgages to expats in over 40 countries, including most of Europe and a number of Gulf States*.

• Interest-Only expat products for both Owner Occupier and Buy to Let
• Applications accepted from expats in over 40 countries, plus further countries through our packager partners, subject to stricter requirements
• We lend to UK nationals working abroad with families remaining in the UK and UK nationals working in the UK but paid in a foreign currency
• No minimum income for Buy to Let applications and no portfolio limits
• Minimum loan £45,000 for our BtL 5 year fixed rate product through our packager partners, and £100,000 for all of our 2 year discount rate products.
  
  

*We currently lend to expats in Bahrain, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates through our packager partners. Please contact your Business Development Manager for up to date information on these. We will also consider applications through our packager partners for lending to expats in China subject to the additional requirements below:

• Any deposit monies are paid from or evidenced as held within a UK bank account
• Applicants must be working for a recognised large organisation that has a UK presence.
