We're implementing the new ESIS illustration
5 Nov 2018
From 5 November we will switch from issuing a Key Facts Illustration (KFI) to a European Standardised Information Sheet (ESIS) for all regulated mortgages.
As a reminder, an ESIS will contain more detail about the mortgage and the terms on offer. This includes new sections such as ‘Lender details’, ‘Complaints’ and ‘Other rights of the borrower’.
Please be aware, from 5 November all of our Owner Occupier application forms will state ‘illustration’ rather than ‘Key Facts Illustration’.
How will this affect current pipeline applications?
All mortgage applications received before 5 November will be issued with a KFI+ style enquiry illustration. From 5 November, an ESIS style enquiry illustration will be issued.

Please let your clients know the new ESIS style Offer illustration differs in appearance and layout from the existing KFI+ style illustrations.
If you have any questions or have a case you would like to discuss, please contact your local Business Development Manager or our Mortgage Desk.
