Since 1 December 2016, we haven’t offered new mortgages under our National Counties brand.  Since this time, all new mortgages have only been available under our award winning Family Building Society brand. If your client has a National Counties mortgage and wants to switch product or borrow more, they can do this under Family Building Society.

From hot dates to play dates, our first time buyer mortgages can help him get a bigger home

Our approach to meeting the Products & Services Outcome and Price & Value Outcome – Information for distributors of our mortgage products

As part of the FCA’s new Consumer Duty, under PRIN 2A.4.15 R and PRIN 2A.3.12 R, we are required to provide all brokers distributing our mortgage products with the outcome of our fair value assessments.

For each of our mortgage product categories we have provided a summary document, outlining:

  • Whether these have been deemed to provide fair value
  • The characteristics and benefits of our products
  • The target markets for our products, as well as how our products are distributed

These summary documents are designed to support brokers to comply with their responsibilities under PRIN 2A.3.16 R and 2A.4.16 R of the Duty. The information in these documents should not be provided to clients.
