Mortgage Deed

The standard Mortgage Deed form is to be used for a mortgage where all borrowers will also be on the title as legal estate owners of the property. If we have agreed that one or more of the borrowers will not be on the title as an owner of the property then please complete the Joint Borrower Sole Proprietor Deed form.

Joint Borrower Sole Proprietor (JBSP) Mortgage Deed

The Mortgage Deed form is to be used for a Joint Borrower Sole Proprietor mortgage. It should only be used where we have agreed that one or more of the borrowers is not also going to be a legal estate holder, i.e. will not be on the title deeds as an owner of the property. If all borrowers will be on the title as legal estate owners of the property, then please complete the standard Mortgage Deed form.

Guidance:
The Mortgagor(s) – all those who will be on the title as owners of the property
The Borrower(s) – all Mortgagor(s), plus anyone else to be named on the mortgage who is responsible for repayment, but who will have no rights of ownership
